About me

My name is Trevor and I have worked in this industry for over 25 years. I've won quite a few awards; one being best body and paint with Classic Ford Magazine in 2017. My Ford 100e and my Escort Cosworth both won best in show for their category after I'd restored/repainted them. I was also in the running for Classic Ford car of the year 2023, also with Classic Ford Magazine, with my 100e I restored and painted in the same colours and livery as the 1969 LeMans winning Gulf GT40.
I've had about 15 Magazine cover cars, one of those cars got 7 Magazine covers on its own worldwide. Which was a BMW M3 E45 in two tone Mazda velocity red and House of Kolor white sparkle.
I've also lost count of the amount of Jaguar E-Type's I've done. Mostly series 1, but also plenty of series 2 and 3, fixed heads and drop heads. One of the black ones used to be owned by the actor Gerrard Butler - if I remember correctly it was a series 3.
I've done most types of custom paintwork. Pearls, candys, metal flake, I even did a car my friends and I drove to Benidorm for charity that had a mix of all three of those paints as different parts to the Union Jack repaint. I repaired and painted a '34 Chevy hot rod in custom Brandy Wine candy paint.
I've fitted bodykits to various different cars, the most recent being an RTR Spec 5 kit to an S550 mustang.
I have also recently restored my own 2007 genuine raced Ford Fusion NASCAR COT, although I did have this wrapped over the work I did, as I wanted it how it was raced at Martinsville.
I have done some film cars, I did some of the cars for Batman: Dark Knight. They were the ambulance that the joker was in when he blew up the hospital, and the fire chiefs car.
Also recently did two 65 Mustang for the Guy Ritchie film Operation Fortune. One being the stunt car, the other the hero car.
I've done multi million pound Ferraris; all sorts of them, 250 GTOs, 275 GTB/4s, Dinos, 250 Lusso. One of which being the ex LeMans 250 GTO SWB, and one of the 275 GTB/4 that was a genuine Ferrari built right hand drive car used at the British motor show.
Classic ford magazine came down with a car of their friend owned, and when I started saying what I'd done etc, they said "we know who you are, we've done our research, and that's why the car's here". I was so happy hearing that from the editor!
I've also painted various models, from remote control helicopters, jet planes and trucks, to 1:18 scale cars.
I painted a 28ft speed boat for a friend, in Ferrari yellow, with flames going into a black and red chequered flag, also the same guys kitchen for his wife, in Fiat 500 pink, with pink and rainbow metal flake. Including the fridge doors!
I've painted most things you can think of, and others you can't, so I'm confident that I can put my hand to anything and get a great result. I'm one of the rare painters that actually enjoy flat and polishing, as I like seeing the finished result looking as good as possible.
